About
I am an interdisciplinary design and media researcher focused on complex human–machine interactions and their media-philosophical implications. My work combines perspectives from science and technology studies, cultural anthropology, media philosophy and spatial theory with design-ethnographic fieldwork.
Since April 2026 I have been a doctoral researcher and research associate in the Research Training Group 3064 “Techniken des Bezeugens” (Techniques of Witnessing) at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. My PhD project examines delay as a material-immanent temporal fold in distributed socio-technical systems — asking how temporal offsets structure perception, affect and witnessing.
Before that, I was a research associate in Design of Interactive Media at the University of Wuppertal (2023–2026), led the field research project Robotic Operations on human–machine collaboration in surgical teams (2022–2023), and completed my M.A. at the Köln International School of Design (2022). The works documented on this site trace that path.
